DAY
1 ZAGREB:
Upon arrival in Zagreb, you will be transferred
from the airport to your hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY
2 ZAGREB:
After breakfast, we go on a sightseeing tour of
Zagreb, featuring Upper Town, St. Mark's Church
with a famed multi-coloured roof, picturesque
central market and Croatian National Theatre.
In the afternoon, we'll visit Zagreb's Cathedral
of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary –
the largest ecclesiastical building in Croatia
housing the tombs of bishops and distinguished
persons from the Croatian history. Dinner and
overnight at the hotel.
DAY
3 ZAGREB - RIJEKA (160 km):
After breakfast, we depart for Rijeka and a Shrine
of Our Lady of Trsat which is situated on the
top of Trsat hill. It has been a subject of a
legend dating from the 13th century. In 1291 Mary's
house in Nazareth is said to have appeared here,
then mysteriously disappeared later, to be discovered
in Italy, in Loreto, where it still stands today
as a shrine. Then we descend down to the city
of Rijeka to visit the Church of St. Vitus, build
on a model of basicila Santa Maria della Salute
in Venice. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in
Rijeka.
DAY
4 RIJEKA - ZADAR (250 km):
After breakfast, drive to Zadar. Sightseeing tour
of the city and a visit to the Cathedral of St.
Anastasia, built in the 12th and 13th century.
It is considered to be the most impressive basilica
in Dalmatia. The cult of St. Anastasia began in
the 9th century after Bishop Donat had brought
her remains from Constantinople and enshrined
them in this church. Check-in at the hotel in
Zadar, dinner and overnight.

5 ZADAR - ŠIBENIK - SPLIT (150 km):
After breakfast we head south towards Šibenik,
the oldest Croatian and Slavic city on the Adriatic
with a famous Cathedral of St. James. This is
the most important architectural monument of the
Renaissance in Croatia, built in the 15th and
16th century. After the short rest, we continue
our journey to Split. Split is most famous for
Diocletian's Palace which is the most important
and best preserved Roman building in Croatia,
built between AD 295 and 305. Check-in at the
hotel in Split. Dinner and overnight.
DAY
6 SPLIT - TROGIR - SPLIT (60 km):
After breakfast, and a sightseeing tour of the
city (Diocletian's Palace, Peristyle, Cathedral
of St.Domnius), we head towards the town of Trogir
whose historical centre was placed on the UNESCO's
World Cultural Heritage List in 1997. Visit the
Cathedral of St. Lawrence which dates from the
13th century. The Cathedral has a Romanesque portal
which was built and signed in 1240 by the greatest
Croatian master sculptor, Radovan. Return to Split.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY
7 SPLIT - MAKARSKA RIVIERA - STON - DUBROVNIK
(250 km):
After breakfast, we head south along
Makarska Riviera and Neretva Valley towards Dubrovnik,
one of the most beautiful stone cities in the
world. On the way, we'll make a short break in
Ston, known for the largest oyster farms on the
Eastern Adriatic coast. Arrive in Dubrovnik, a
city-monument, registered on UNESCO's List of
the World Cultural Heritage. Rest of the day at
leisure. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik.
DAY
8 DUBROVNIK - KOTOR - DUBROVNIK (160 km):
Breakfast. Morning city tour of Dubrovnik including
a visit to the Franciscan monastery, Rector's
Palace and the Cathedral. Later on, we head south
to Kotor where we visit the Cathedral of St.Tryphon,
built in Romanesque style during the Middle Ages.
Return to Dubrovnik. Dinner and overnight at the
hotel.
DAY
9 DUBROVNIK:
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the
airport for the flight home.
