DAY
1: ZAGREB
Arrive in Zagreb. Transfer from the airport to
the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Zagreb.
DAY
2: ZAGREB - OPATIJA (160 km)
Breakfast. Sightseeing of Zagreb featuring Upper
Town, historical center of the city, Church of
St. Mark with the famed multi-colored roof, Cathedral,
the Croatian National Theatre and University.
After the city tour, we head towards Opatija,
one of the most famous tourist resorts in the
Mediterranean, which in the last century served
as a resting-place of the European aristocracy
and was often called the Croatian Nice. Arrive
at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY
3: OPATIJA - VENICE - OPATIJA (450 km)
After breakfast, departure for Venice Queen of
the Mediterranean. Sightseeing tour of Venice
and free time for shopping. Return to Opatija
in the late afternoon, dinner and overnight at
the hotel.
DAY
4: OPATIJA - PLITVICE - ZAGREB - DUBROVNIK (330
km)
After breakfast, we head towards the Plitvice
Lakes, the most famous National Park in Croatia.
The Plitvice lakes complex was registered on the
UNESCO's List of World Natural Heritage in 1979.
Thickly wooded mountains embrace sixteen smaller
and larger crystal turquoise lakes, interconnected
by foaming cascades and deep falls. Sightseeing
of the National Park. Return trip to the Zagreb
airport and a flight to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival
to Dubrovnik transfer to the hotel, dinner and
overnight.
DAY
5: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik
- a city-monument, registered on the UNESCO's
List of World Cultural Heritage. Visit the Franciscan
monastery, Rector's Palace and the Cathedral.
Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at
the hotel.
DAY
6: DUBROVNIK - CAVTAT - KONAVLE - DUBROVNIK (80
km)
Breakfast. Morning free for a stroll along the
City Walls which are considered to be among the
most beautiful city walls in the world. Afternoon
excursion to Cavtat and Konavle. Cavtat is a well-known
summer resort which Edward VIIIth and Walace Simpson
chose for their honeymoons. Dinner in Konavle
in one of the best restaurants of the region,
situated by the old mill and a small river Ljuta.
After dinner, return to Dubrovnik. Overnight.
DAY
7: DUBROVNIK
Breakfast. Time at leisure until transfer to Dubrovnik
airport for the flight home.
