Day 2, Thursday ZAGREB - PLITVICE
In the morning you will have a city tour of Zagreb including
the fortified Upper Town, the city's historical center,
St Mark's church with its multicolored roof, the Cathedral,
the Croatian National Theater and the University. In
the afternoon we will depart for Plitvice Lakes National
Park and have dinner and an overnight in Plitvice.
Day 3, Friday PLITVICE LAKES
After our breakfast in the morning, we will tour the
Plitvice Lakes National Park which is on the United
Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's
(UNESCO's) List of World Natural Heritage. Plitvice
Lakes is composed of sixteen lakes, each at a different
level, connected in a series of cascading waterfalls.
Surrounded by dense wood, the Plitvice Lakes are a natural
phenomenon of a rare and unique beauty. We will have
another dinner and an overnight in Plitvice Lakes.
Day 4, Saturday PLITVICE LAKES
- TRILJ - DUBROVNIK
In the morning we will depart to Dubrovnik, the city
known as "The Pearl of the Adriatic." This
will be a very scenic drive as we pass through the city
of Trilj and along the valley of the Cetina River. In
the evening we will have dinner and an overnight in
Dubrovnik.
Day 5, Sunday DUBROVNIK
You will have a full day at leisure in Dubrovnik. Whether
you take a
walking tour on top of the old city walls surrounding
the old city or a relaxing stroll through the
cobblestones streets or enjoy the crystal clear water
on the beach, we are sure that you will find Dubrovnik,
one of the most romantic cities in Europe, to be a truly
unique experience!
Day 6, Monday: DUBROVNIK - TROGIR
In the morning we will have a sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik
which is also included in the UNESCO's List of World
Cultural Heritage. You will visit the Franciscan monastery
which is Europe's third oldest pharmacy, the Rector's
Palace and the Cathedral. In the afternoon we will depart
to the city of Trogir. This will be another scenic
drive along the Adriatic coast and the Neretva River
Delta. Upon arrival in this picturesque medieval town
of Trogir, we will visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence.
We will have an evening dinner and an overnight in Trogir.
Day 7, Tuesday TROGIR - SPLIT
- ZADAR
In the morning we depart to the city of Split.
Upon arrival, we have a sightseeing tour of Split covering
the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace which is also
on the UNESCO's List of World Cultural Heritage.
Diocletian's Palace is composed of the Peristyle, Jupiter's
Temple and the Cathedral. After our tour we will departure
to the city of Zadar where we will have an evening dinner
and an overnight in Zadar.
Day 8, Wednesday ZADAR - ZAGREB
We will have a morning sightseeing tour of Zadar including
the Roman Forum and St. Donatus Church, a magnificent
monument of Romanesque architecture. In the afternoon
we depart to the Croatian capital city of Zagreb. We
will have dinner and an overnight in Zagreb.
Day 9, Thursday ZAGREB - Departure
After breakfast, the tour ends and our representatives
will transfer you to the Zagreb airport.
