Itinerary

Day 1 DUBROVNIK - Sunday
Transfer to hotel upon arrival. Dinner & overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 2 DUBROVNIK – TRILJ/SINJ - Monday
After breakfast city tour of Dubrovnik, inscribed on the List of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. You will visit the Cathedral and Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, and other interesting sights.
Afternoon drive along the Adriatic Coast and the Neretva River Delta to Trilj/Sinj.
Dinner and overnight in Trilj/Sinj.

Day 3 TRILJ/SINJ - PLITVICE - ZAGREB - Tuesday
Morning departure for Plitvice National Park, inscribed on the List of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Tour of the 16 crystal - blue lakes cascading into 92 spectacular waterfalls. Walk on the wooden promenades to view majestic waters where every turn leads to a breathtaking scenery and yet another waterfall. Surrounded by dense woods Plitvice lakes are a natural phenomenon of rare and unique beauty. Departure for Zagreb, dinner and overnight in Zagreb.

Day 4 ZAGREB - Wednesday
After breakfast sightseeing of Zagreb, Croatian capital city, including the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical center, St Mark’s church with multi-colored roof, the Cathedral, Croatian National Theater and University. Free afternoon to explore the city’s numerous shops and galleries, or to enjoy a drink in one of the cafes in Tkalciceva street, a favorite meeting place of the locals and their guests. Dinner and overnight in Zagreb.

Day 5 CASTLES OF HRVATSKO ZAGORJE - ZADAR - Thursday
Morning departure for Castle Trakošcan, built in the 13th century
Castle was turned into a residential manor-house, while the surrounding park was turned into Romanticist pleasure grounds. Collections on permanent display include the original order of things, as they were when they were still in use. The exhibits date from the 15th to the 19th century and are distributed per individual rooms constituting separate interior units.
Trakoscan has one of the most beautiful and best maintained parks, with exuberant vegetation, full of interesting shapes and lovely panoramas. It provides a unique experience of pristine nature accompanied by a rich and varied tourist offer.
After Trakošcan departure to Veliki Tabor castle.
Veliki Tabor, a fortified castle located on a beautiful hill near the locality of Desinica, dominating the south-western part of Hrvatsko Zagorje, counts among historical monuments of utmost category according to UNESCO classification. Pentagonal tower was built in the 12th century, while the semicircular towers, which render complete the beauty of the Castle, were built in the 15th and 16th centuries. The Castle occupies around 3340 m2
Evening departure to Zadar. Dinner and overnight in Zadar area.

Day 6 ZADAR - SPLIT - Friday
After breakfast City tour of Zadar with professional English speaking guide.
Orientation tour of Zadar (without entrances to the museums) including the Roman Forum from the 2nd century BC, the 9th century pre-Romanesque church of St. Donatus as well as St. Elias church. On the way to Split we stop in NATIONAL PARK KRKA, - Sightseeing tour includes the Skradinski Buk waterfall. Visitors can see the watermills in which cereals are ground with millstones and taste bread made of the ground cereals. There is also an ethnographical collection. Dinner and overnight in Split.

Day 7 SPLIT - DUBROVNIK - Saturday
Morning city tour of Split covering the Diocletian’s Palace inscribed on the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage, the Peristyle, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Afternoon departure for Dubrovnik, driving along the Makarska Riviera. Dinner & overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 8 DEPARTURE - Sunday
Transfer to the airport for the return flight.
