Itinerary

Day 1 DUBROVNIK
Arrive at Dubrovnik airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 DUBROVNIK - MEDJUGORJE
Morning sightseeing of Dubrovnik, a city on UNESCO`s list of protected World Cultural Heritage. Depart for Medjugorje. Arrive in the late afternoon, in time for the evening mass at the parish church of St.Jacob.

Day 3 MEDJUGORJE
Since the first apparition of Our Lady on 24th June 1981, Medjugorje has become one of the most famous and most visited sanctuaries in the Catholic world (over 10 million pilgrims have visited Medjugorje).Climb to Apparition Hill by the way of the rosary, marked by wooden crosses and bronze reliefs. Evening service.

Day 4 MEDJUGORJE - SINJ - SOLIN - SPLIT
Morning drive to Sinj, well known for the miraculous icon of Our Lady of Sinj, who according to legend saved its citizens several times from the Turkish attacks. In 1752 Pope Benedict XIV granted a plenary indulgence to those who visit the church of the Holy Virgin Mary in Sinj. Continue our drive to Split, via Solin where we visit the remains of the oldest Croatia sanctuary to Mary, built by the Croatian queen Jelena in the 10th century.
Dinner and overnight in Split.

Day 5 SPLIT - TROGIR - ZADAR
Sightseeing of the Diocletian's Palace, under UNESCO`s protection of World Cultural Heritage, including the Cathedral of St Doimus, patron saint of Split.
Continuation to Trogir for a visit to the Cathedral, a masterpiece of the Romanesque art. Dinner and overnight in Zadar.

Day 6 ZADAR - RIJEKA - TRSAT
City tour of Zadar including the Museum of Zadar`s Gold and Silver. Departure to Rijeka. The legend of Trsat sanctuary began with transferring of Mary's house from Nazareth to Trsat in 1291 and three years later to Loretto, Italy...The church of Our Lady of Trsat was named basilica minor by the Pope Pius XI in 1935.We will tour the church which houses the miraculous picture of St Mary, the Franciscan cloister and the Chapel of votive offerings.
Dinner and overnight in Rijeka.

Day 7 RIJEKA - ZAGREB - REMETE - MARIJA BISTRICA
City Tour of Zagreb including St Stephen`s Cathedral and St Mark's church. Departure for Remete for a visit the church of St Mary, named Celestial Pharmacy thanks to the miraculous events, testified by church medallions. Drive to Marija Bistrica for the evening service.
Dinner and overnight in Marija Bistrica.

Day 8 MARIJA BISTRICA
Finding of the statue of St Mary with the child, followed by numerous miraculous events in the past centuries, turned this village into the largest and most visited Croatian sanctuary.
In 1924 Pope Pius XI proclaimed the church Basilica minor. We shall pray on the way of the Cross, marked by stone and bronze sculptures.
Dinner and overnight in Marija Bistrica.

Day 9 MARIJA BISTRICA - ZAGREB/ Departure
Transfer to zagreb airport for your flight home.
